APhA's Operation Heart

The American Pharmacy Association's Operation Heart will be hosting an event on Saturday, November 17th. The event will include several of the patient care projects for a mini-health fair, such as blood pressure screenings, glucose screenings (Operation Diabetes) and Generation Rx.

The New England Osteopathic Heritage Center would like to invite you to celebrate with us the installation and web release of "Hand Over Hand: An Exploration of Osteopathic Medicine in New England", an interactive video exhibit that allows the user to explore the definition, history, and future of osteopathic medicine.

NEOHC will be hosting a Wine and Cheese reception in the Stella Maris exhibit area. Come and explore the "Hand Over Hand" kiosk or bring your favorite mobile device.

Student Art Exhibit Reception

There will be an opening reception on Thursday from 5-8:00 at 265 Main Street in Biddeford showcasing student art created in the Department of Arts and Communications. The exhibit will run from October 25th- Nov. 2nd.

Work in painting, drawing, printmaking and photography will be featured. Support the arts and take a moment to see the creative side of UNE.

Asherah Cinnamon creates environments and objects that encourage healing through action and interaction, using everything from intimate narrative to complex psychodrama and communal ritual. Influenced by the values and traditions of Judaism, “Dwelling Place” is a public art installation and sculpture created with found objects and natural materials.  The viewer is encouraged to engage in dialog about justice, forgiveness, grief, anger, hope, beauty, generosity, and humor.
