A Lot Like You (Biddeford Evening Presentation)
Filmmaker Eliaichi Kimaro is a mixed-race, first generation American who documents her father's return to Tanzania and the Chagga culture. Race, class and gender are investigated through the lenses of family and violence. Is the act of bearing witness enough to bridge cultural differences?

The theme for this series is Intercultural Competence, exploring concepts of cultural awareness, cultural humility, and collaboration across diverse groups including health professionals. Attendees will learn from local and national experts and have the opportunity to follow up these events with service learning, small group and classroom activities.
