Anonymous: A Tale of Mary Shelley

Faculty, professional staff, and students are invited to attend a play being staged on the Biddeford Campus, "Anonymous: a tale of Mary Shelley.” There will be three free performances in the Alfond Center for Health Sciences Room 113 on Friday, September 13 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, September 14 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The play is a fictional speculation of what was happening within Mary Shelley as she was writing Frankenstein, the novel that took on a life of its own over the next 200-plus years. The performance runs 90 minutes and is also open to the public. The play does contain some adult themes and may not be appropriate for children.
