A Dec. 22, 2011 Seacoastonline story featured a new music CD that will help support the UNE Marine Animal Rehabilitation Center (MARC).

The CD, which features the talented musicians that play in the Ship's Cellar Pub at the York Harbor Inn is being released by York Harbor Inn and Crooked Cove Records. In addition to assisting MARC, "SeaHorse - A Musical Collaboration for Equine and Marine Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation," will help support The Double B Equine Rescue.

"SeaHorse" features a line-up of local musicians, with a variety of different styles, including Dave Gerard, Peter Black, Harvey Reid, Joyce Andersen, Don Severance and Jerry Short.

The story notes that MARC is Maine's only marine animal rehabilitation facility, and that over the last 10 years, the facility has helped to save more than 900 animals, including seals, sea turtles, dolphins, and porpoises.
