Anne Cowles and Marilyn Gugliucci present preliminary results from NIH-funded study at 25th Annual Maine Geriatrics Conference

Anne Cowles, Applied Exercise Science Class of 2010, M.P.H. '15, U-ExCEL fitness director, and Marilyn Gugliucci, Ph.D., director of Geriatrics and Research in the College of Osteopathic Medicine, presented, along with David Wihry, M.P.A., a statistician at the University of Maine, on June 12, 2015, at the 25th Annual Maine Geriatrics Conference in Bar Harbor, Maine.

Their presentation, "Self-Administered Balance Program for Low Vision Older Adults: Pilot Clinical Field-Test," outlined preliminary results from the National Institute of Health funded study that they are in the process of completing.

Gugliucci served as chair of the Conference Planning Committee and has been working with the planning team for 21 years.
