Headshot of Alex Kerns

Alex Kerns, M.Ed.

Area Coordinator, Sokokis Hall

Sokokis Hall 134
Biddeford Campus

Alex happily joined the Office of Housing & Residential/Commuter Life as an Area Coordinator in January 2023. Alex attended George Mason University, where he studied Conflict Analysis & Resolution, before moving to Western Carolina University, where he graduated with a Master's in Higher Education Student Affairs. He came to Maine (sight unseen) after spending the last two-and-a-half years working at the University of Kentucky.

Born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA, Alex is very excited to be back on the East Coast. Alex is THE Jurassic Park fan in the state of Maine, is an equally as avid horror movie fan, and loves to do anything and everything with a group of friends. Lastly (and possibly most importantly), Alex is a dog-dad to Bella; a black lab/boxer mix who absolutely loves any human interaction.
