Deanna Barry, LMSW

Deanna is very excited to have joined the University of New England staff in July of 2022 as an Area Coordinator in the Office of Housing and Residential/Commuter Life. Born and raised in Maine, Deanna attended Saint Joseph’s College of Maine where she studied English and psychology before earning her Master of Social Work from UNE in 2017. Prior to joining the UNE team she worked for a domestic violence agency as a prevention educator/hotline advocate, was a clinical counselor for a community mental health organization, and was the Violence Prevention Coordinator at Saint Joseph’s College. In her free time she loves to hike around New England, take care of her (too many) house plants, spend time with her two black cats, and listen to true crime/spooky podcasts.
