Professor Gellar-Cote has over 12 years combined experience as an instructor at the College of Dental Medicine and the Dental Hygiene program in the College of Health Professions. She began her career as a dental hygienist working in public health clinics and continues to have a passion for dental health education and access to care. Professor Gellar-Cote was the course director of the DANB radiology preparatory course for dental assistants at UNE and was the director and designer of the first UNE Dental Careers Camp for high school students around New England.
