Kelli earned a bachelor's degree at Rutgers University in NJ, a master of social work degree at the University of New England in Maine and is currently completing her doctorate of social work at Millersville University in PA. Kelli will be defending her doctoral dissertation in March 2023.

Kelli serves the UNE community and the school of social work as faculty mentor and champion for interprofessional collaborative learning (IPCL). She has provided leadership for students and faculty across disciplines in several IPCL programs such as the Ghana international health immersion, interprofessional team immersion, collaborating across campuses, Northern Lights pain clinic, and SBIRT leadership training program.

Kelli has also served on the university RPT committee, WCHP committee for excellence in community education, interprofessional committee on student mental health and wellness, and SSW curriculum, field, and IPE committees. Kelli has contributed to the writing, implementing, and reporting for several federally funded interprofessional workforce development grants (RICE, CATCH-ME, TRIAD, SBIRT) and served as PI for the RICE and TRIAD grants.

Throughout her career, Kelli has learned from mentors and her own experiences to recognize the power of positive and authentic relationship to create healing and recovery for individuals and families, including very young children and adult survivors of violence. Kelli believes that working from this relational framework in the context of clinical supervision, organizational leadership and change management, as well as an educator is invaluable and creates the basis from which learning, growth and positive change emerges.
