Mary Aube

Professor Aube graduated with her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from Westbrook College, Portland , Maine,  in 1988.  She worked in clinical practice for a general dentist for a year in Rhode Island.  Professor Aube then moved to Maine and joined Falmouth Pediatric Dentistry, practicing for over 25 years.  Through these years she returned to Westbrook College where she attained her Bachelor Degree in Dental Hygiene as well as joined the UNE Dental Hygiene Faculty.  After 9 years of part time at UNE, Professor Aube became a full time Dental Hygiene Clinical Instructor.  Aube returned to achieve her Masters Degree in Education from Saint Joseph's College, Standish, Maine, in 2012.  In 2013, Professor Aube became Assistant Clinical Professor of Dental Hygiene.  The fall of 2019 Professor Aube was promoted to Associate Clinical Professor.

Professor Aube is involved in Interprofessional Collaboration, including Interprofessional Team Immersion (IPTI) and on the Interprofessional Advisory Board.  In the Dental Hygiene Department, she is a Screening Brief Intervention and Referral for Treatment (SBIRT) leader.
