William Johnson, M.S.

William Johnson joined the University of New England staff in July of 2018 as an Area Coordinator. From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, William went to Chestnut Hill College for his undegraduate degree in Psychology. Being fully exposed to student affairs through various student leadership positions William persued a Master's Degree in Counseling at Shippensburg University, with a specialization in College Student Personnel. Prior to employment at UNE, William was a Residence Director for Shippensburg University, gaining further experience in Residence Life & Housing as well as Academic Success and Student Conduct. Lastly, William was an Assistant Coordinator for Penn State Harrisburg where he focused on multicultural programming and leadership development, which finally lead William to begin pursuing a Ed.D in Educational Leadership at UNE - Biddeford Campus. Currently, William both founded and oversees the Community Assistant Program dedicated to preparing students for future leadership positions. William's interests include Multicultural Affairs, Student leadership development, Student Resilience and Academic/personal student success.
