On behalf of our students, faculty, and professional staff, I am pleased to welcome you to the School of Pharmacy at the University of New England! We are proud of our professional program in pharmacy that graduates practitioners who are not only capable of providing state-of-the-art patient-centered care but are able to do so in conjunction with colleagues in other health professions. UNE has a well-earned reputation for excellence in interprofessional education, which provides all of our health professions students with the skills and tools they will need to work together to ensure 21st-century health care for patients.
The UNE School of Pharmacy is located in picturesque Portland on the southern coast of Maine. Portland boasts exceptional health care facilities that serve as training sites for our pharmacy students, allowing them to bring what they have learned in the classroom to the practice site. Beyond Portland, our students can be found at hospitals, clinics, and ambulatory care sites throughout Maine and New England.
We take great pride in the individualized attention afforded to each student. We believe the care we show toward them will be reflected in the care they ultimately provide their patients. Moreover, we are a diverse school that celebrates what each individual contributes to our community; we believe this diversity better prepares our graduates to practice in a nation of ever-increasing diversity.
Please explore our website to learn more about our pharmacy program and the exceptional individuals comprising the UNE Pharmacy community. If your schedule and travels allow, I hope you also consider a visit to our Portland Campus.
