Hahna David Patterson, M.A., is the Assistant Provost for the Division of Student Support and an Affiliated Faculty Member in the Physical Therapy Department. He has a wide range of teaching experience in the area of veteran’s mental health, disability, and cognitive behavioral therapies. Lori has provided on-campus and online writing support for UNE students since 2009. In her position as Online Writing Specialist, she uses interactive web-conferencing to guide students through the writing process and skill development. She is also available as a resource to online faculty interested in improving student writing.
Lori has a M.Ed. in Teaching and Learning and over 20 years of experience as an educator. In addition to tutoring students, she has taught college English composition and research courses.

Before getting a BS in Industrial Technology, I worked as a carpenter for a commercial construction company. My career in education began by teaching carpentry, math, CAD and architectural design at both the high school and community college level. I began my professional career as a cartographer, stumbled into education in my mid-twenties and have been happily teaching mathematics ever since. Through hard work, a series of good turns and a bit of luck, I've developed an expertise in developmental mathematics specifically and developmental education more generally. Before joining UNE in 2016, Jessica worked with youth and young adults in the disability employment field in the Greater Boston area and for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Rehabilitation Counselor.
