Sport and Recreation Management
"One of the best aspects of the Sport Management [major] is the close relationships you develop with your professors and peers. Small class sizes allow for individualized attention and intense in-class discussions.
"I interned with the Maine Red Claws during their 2010-2011 season. It was a great way to apply what I had learned in the classroom and gain experience in the sporting industry.
"Being a four-year member of the women’s lacrosse team was my most memorable experience at UNE. It allowed me to travel to new places, grow lasting friendships, and play the sport I love. The life skills I learned, such as teamwork and time management, led to my acceptance into law school and successes in other areas."
