What I like about the History Department is how involved the professors are; I got to know all of them within the first couple of months. They are extremely interested in your success not only at UNE, but after you leave here. I've been the History Department representative to the Undergraduate Student Government since my freshman year. It can be a lot of work, but has been an awesome experience. Being on the Government has allowed me to be an active member of the University community. UNE is an incredible place. There is almost always something going on. There are a ton of clubs to join and activities to do, or you can go to Portland, or just relax and hang out in your dorm room or in the Hang.
