Ryan Kingston '12

Ryan works as a Wildlife and Climate Safeguards Intern at the National Wildlife Federation in Washington, DC. There he does research, creates factsheets and outreach materials, assists with writing and editing reports, and works on advocacy campaigns in renewable energy development. About his time at UNE, Ryan says, “The classes I took for conservation, environmental policy and climate change really gave me a good background to get into the field… The environmental community is very close, and the connections you make will stick around for longer than you’d think."
