Your degree provides you with the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform a range of practices essential to the discipline: pre-participatory screening, fitness testing, exercise prescription, and exercise leadership for healthy and health-compromised populations and athletic performance enhancement.

You leave our program prepared for a career as a health and fitness professional in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, sports medicine, corporate fitness, personal training, health promotion or health research. You might work for a college or university, sports/athletic organization, hospital or clinic, private/commercial/community health and fitness center, or municipality.

You also may also opt to pursue a graduate degree in one of the allied health disciplines.
