Debriefing is an important part of the clinical simulation experience at UNE. At the conclusion of each simulation, you review your performance and obtain feedback from peers and faculty. You reflect on your response to each challenge posed by the simulation, and consider alternatives that would have produced different outcomes.

Our skilled instructors often utilize digital recordings of scenarios to enhance the debriefing process. This is accomplished using simultaneous digital recording via multiple video cameras strategically placed in each simulation lab. Faculty members are able to annotate and timestamp video as each scenario unfolds so that during debriefing the exact spot in the case can be accessed without delay.

Our classroom instructors also utilize our simulation technology to provide real-time demonstrations of clinical interventions and procedures to large classes. This is facilitated through the transmission of live video feeds from the simulation labs to their classrooms.
