This program takes place prior to the Campus-Based Orientation session, and ends in time for you to participate in it fully.

$100 additional cost

This entry-level, thee-day, two-night sailing trip is designed to offer new students the opportunity to connect with peers while touring the scenic coast near UNE. Students will spend their days learning to sail from the UNE campus and discussing life at UNE over a campfire setting. Sailboats and all equipment are provided and no experience is necessary.

This is an Exploratory Program: Trips in this category are designed for students who want an adventure but may not be interested in camping. Students will reside in residence halls, eat meals prepared by UNE dining services and enjoy all that our beautiful campus and its surrounding community has to offer.
