President Danielle Ripich hosted dynamic Town Hall meetings on both campuses in May 2008. President Ripich presented and discussed the new 10-year strategic plan, “Framework for the Future.”

University Town Hall meetings occurred periodically throughout the year, and provided an opportunity to directly involve the UNE community in discussing and celebrating important University initiatives.

The sessions were conveniently scheduled between classes and exams to maximize attendance by students, faculty and staff, and were well-attended on both campuses.

President Ripich engaged the audience with her dialogue and presentation, followed by a lively and open-minded exchange of ideas, comments and suggestions. All comments were captured on newsprint by the meeting facilitator.

These open sessions were another component of the University’s collaborative strategic planning process.
