2015-16 Activities

Club Bottle Drive

ONGOING THROUGHOUT THE 2015-2016 ACADEMIC YEAR

As a fundraiser, Neuroscience Club members are distributing "Clynk" bags to family and friends in the Maine area to collect bottles and cans. Clynk is a Maine-based recycling company operating exclusively through Hannaford. All you need to do is fill up your green Clynk bag and return it to your nearest Hannaford with the label provided. It's that easy. Fifteen percent of the proceeds go to the local Michael T. Goulet Foundation. If you are interested in participating, please contact Kristina Carlson at kcarlson1@une.edu for more information.

K-12 Outreach

Ongoing for the 2015-2016 Academic Year

The Neuroscience Club encourages all members to participate in the Center for Excellence in the Neurosciences' K-12 Outreach Program. This program unites faculty, staff, graduates and undergraduate students while brining interactive learning to area schools. The activities are designed to introduce such neuroscience topics as: anatomy and physiology, injury and injury prevention, addiction and cognition. For more information visit the K-12 webpage
