Susan St. Pierre and Mindy Golden present on interprofessionalism

On June 6, 2014, Susan St. Pierre, DO, assistant clinical professor in the College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Mindy Golden, MSN, RN, assistant clinical professor in the Department of Nursing, presented  at All Together Better Health IV, In Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The talk, titled “Mission Possible,” discussed the bringing together of medicine and nursing for shared learning experiences among students.  St. Pierre and Golden communicated their commitment to interprofessionalism between these two disciplines and shared their tools for success.

Other authors of the work who were not in attendance at the presentation are Karen Pardue, PhD, RN, associate dean for Undergraduate Education in the Westbrook College of Health Professions; Shelley Cohen Konrad, PhD, LCSW, associate professor in the Department of Social Work and director of the Center for Excellence in Interprofessional Education; and Jennifer Morton, DNP, MS, MPH, RN, associate professor and director of Nursing.
