Take the Field by Storm

We call our athletes nor’easters after one of the nastiest storms in Mother Nature’s arsenal. Our athletics teams, a serious source of UNE pride, have a history of blowing through the competition. The Harold Alfond Forum boasts world-class athletic facilities. Nor’easters strive for success on and off the field – even with 11 conference championships in the last five years, 87 percent of our teams average a GPA of 3.0 or higher. #gonoreasters

Our intercollegiate teams compete at the Division III level in:

  • MEN’S basketball, cross country, golf, ice hockey, lacrosse and soccer (coming in the fall of 2018: football).
  • WOMEN’S basketball, cross country, field hockey, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, rugby and volleyball.
