Dylan Schuett, B.S. ’25 (Biological Sciences), and Joey Stanizzi, B.S. ’25 (Exercise Science), were named the first-place winners of the entrepreneurship competition live on WGME 13 on June 28, earning $10,000 to support their growing business, Underdog Performance, whose flagship performance drink offers a healthier, more nutritious alternative to traditional energy drinks.

UNE Professor David Livingstone Smith is awarded prestigious professorship by Linköping University in Sweden

Smith, Ph.D., a professor of philosophy, has been appointed as a Tage Danielsson guest professor at Linköping University for the 2026-2027 academic year, during which time he will conduct scholarly, intellectual, and pedagogic work in the university’s Department of Culture and Society.
