What's Early Action?
We offer an Early Action deadline (non-binding) for undergraduate applicants who desire early notification of their admission status. Applicants wishing to be considered for Early Action will need to submit their completed application by December 1. Students submitting all application materials on or before December 1 will receive notification of their admissions decision prior to December 31.
First-year (High school) students should submit the following:
- A Common Application or a UNE Application with the $40 application fee.
- Official SAT or ACT results.
- Official copy of high school transcript.
Early Assurance Program
UNE's Early Assurance program is designed to offer talented undergraduate students with well-defined career aspirations the opportunity to streamline acceptance into certain UNE graduate programs.
Qualified undergraduate freshman applicants can declare their intent to pursue a graduate or professional degree by selecting their intended Early Assurance designation on the Common Application or on UNE's online application.
If a student is accepted to UNE and also accepted into the Early Assurance program they may then move directly into their chosen UNE graduate program, as long as the programmatic and progression requirements are met during their undergraduate studies.
