Expanding Horizons in Public Health: Seven-Part Screening of 'Unnatural Causes'
The Evaluation Team at SCPH invites you to join us for Expanding Horizons in Public Health – a series of informal learning sessions on contemporary public health topics.
We will begin this fall with a 7-part screening of Unnatural Causes. This highly acclaimed documentary series broadcast by PBS is now used by thousands of organizations around the country to tackle the root causes of our alarming socio-economic and racial inequities in health.
You are invited to attend any or all sessions. It will be a casual atmosphere: Bring your lunch. Come and go as your schedule permits.
All sessions will take place on Thursdays from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm on the Portland Campus.
The first episode is an hour long. The rest are a half hour. Some of us may stay for an optional group discussion, which you are welcome to join if you like, or not.
