UNE students serve as leaders at National Student Nurses Association conference

UNE Nursing students attend the National Student Nurses Association annual conference

Eight students from the University of New England Nursing Class of 2017 attended the National Student Nurses Association annual conference in Dallas, Texas.  

Under the leadership of Devdra Griffin, MSN, RNC, WHNP, assistant clinical professor, Chloe White, Chritina Scionti, Lauren Carlton, Caitlin Marcotte, Hannah Locke, Nicole Dion and Kaitlin Devlin gave poster presentations about SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention and Response to Treatment) training the students received at UNE. 

Hallie Lehner who serves as the Maine Student Nurses Association President for all programs of nursing in Maine, served as delegate for the state in SNA-related meetings at the conference.
