Interspecific competition for food resources between juvenile life stages of American lobsters (Homarus americanus), rock crabs (Cancer irroratus), and green crabs (Carcinus maenas)

The American lobster, rock crab, and green crab can all be found in the same habitat during the early stages of their life.  Stomach content analysis has shown that all four species utilize similar food sources during this time period.  The purpose of Joseph's study is to determine how interspecific competition between these species affects the foraging behavior or each species.
