Do you love to write? Do you have a project that you would like to finish and send for submission? Building Narratives is an intermediate fiction writing course designed to provide you with an enhanced skill set and practical experience that will increase your confidence as a writer. We will begin with your project, new or existing and focus on a particular skill area each week as we revise and polish the work. Outside readings and short homework assignments are given out weekly. Class time is used for discussion, project review and brief writing exercises. The goal with this session is to have your fiction piece ready for submission by week 8.

Class size is limited to 6 participants and a writing sample prior to registration is required. Participants should be prepared to spend 2-3 hours a week outside of class to complete assigned work.

Building Narratives is facilitated by artist and author Mihku Paul, who holds an MFA in creative writing and a B.A. in Communication and Human Development. Her poetry chapbook 20th Century PowWow Playland was published by Bowman Books in Greenfield, New York, in 2012.
