Workshop Format: Building Narratives, a series of workshops hosted by the Maine Women Writers Collection, addresses the key elements writers use to build an effective story.
The first two classes focus on critique skills and evaluating narratives. Each week thereafter, through short, in-class exercises as well as reading assignments, participants examine and discuss one element of fiction to gain a deeper understanding of narrative components, and to sharpen their skills as writers.
