Class Descriptions

Body Rolling: Yamuna Body Rolling® uses patented balls of various sizes and densities to knead out body tension. The balls provide direct bone density stimulation, elongation and alignment of muscles, immediate feedback of where we are stuck, and a feeling of spaciousness in our joints. See the instructor’s website for more details. www.MeloraYoga.com

Boot Camp: Build up your strength, endurance, and agility during a whole body workout! Add variation into your workout plan with this 40 minute class.

Cardio Interval Training: Get your cardio workout in through a circuit of cardio exercises. This fast paced class keeps you moving through different exercises to incorporate your whole body.

Cardio Kickboxing: A heart pumping and muscle toning workout in an energizing atmosphere. Learn punch and kick combos that will challenge your muscles and the music will keep you moving and coming back for more.

Core Conditioning: Improve your fitness by sculpting abs and strengthening your core! This 40 minute class targets the muscles between your shoulders and hips with integrated and functional exercises.

Kettlebell: Experience a full body workout by using kettlebells. Improve your body strength and learn how to integrate kettlebells into your workout plan.

Power Yoga: Build strength, stamina, flexibility and greater mind-body awareness as you move through a range of creatively and purposefully sequenced postures. Expect to flow through sun salutations, and a blend of any or all of the following: balancing postures, twists, backbends, abdominal exercises, as well as hip openers. Experience clear and precise alignment instruction with options to modify or move deeper into each posture. This mixed levels class welcomes all practitioners. 

Spin: Enjoy a cardio workout on a spin bike! You will experience a complete cardio workout while biking. Integrate spinning into your workout to add variation.

Spin and Core: Enjoy an intense cardio and core training workout! You will experience a interval based cardio and balanced core workout in just 60 minutes.

Sports Conditioning: Get the benefits of a personal training session in a group class setting. This class consists of cardio and strength training intervals to integrate a complete full body workout in just 40 minutes.

Strala Yoga:  "Strala,” a Swedish word meaning to radiate light. Create a healthy body and mind by focusing on finding ease through flowing movements fueled by your breath. Activate your relaxation response to improve your overall health, healing and well-being in this laid back, energetic and open vibe class.

Yoga: Improve your inner strength by obtaining a peaceful body and mind through yoga. This class combines stretching, controlled breathing, and relaxation to create a healthy body and mind. Yoga can help improve fitness and reduce stress so add this class to your busy schedule to find some relaxation.

Yoga (Monday PM):  Focus on learning and refining, both active and restorative, yogic postures with the use of props. This practice will build strength, increase flexibility, center the mind, and enhance energy flow. Each student will be given personalized instruction and variations for injuries when needed, as we work towards body alignment and awareness in movement.

Zumba: Shimmy your way into a healthier you. This is a cardio exercise that fuses Latin rhythms. Come experience a fun, full body, cardio workout.
