David Livingstone Smith, Ph.D., UNE associate professor of philosophy, was a guest on the syndicated radio show The Scholars' Circle, which was broadcast on KPFK Radio Pacifica on Sunday, Feb. 3 and various other stations at other times. Beginning with the news of famed cyclist Lance Armstrong's lies about performance enhancement drugs, Smith, along with philosopher Sissela Bok and the psychologist Charles Ford, discussed theories about deception and lying.
