Dora Mills quoted in ‘Press Herald’ article about proposed state bill for vaccine injury claims investigation program
Dora Anne Mills, M.D.,M.P.H., FAAP, vice president for Clinical Affairs, was quoted in a March 27, 2015 Portland Press Herald article on a proposed Maine bill that would create a new state program to investigate vaccine injury claims.
According to Mills, the proposed bill is a scare tactic. "This is an anti-vaccine bill that is trying to scare people from getting vaccines, one of the most successful public health efforts of the past 100 years," she said.
Mills stated that vaccines have been proven to be safe by so many studies that "to say anything else is like denying the Earth is round."
