UNE Early College program and Hannah Cutting featured in the ‘Courier’

On July 30, 2015, the Courier published an article about UNE’s Early College program, highlighting Hannah Cutting, a 2015 graduate with a B.S. in marine biology.

Cutting, who was a high school student in the Early College Coastal Marine Ecology program during the summer of 2010, came full circle this summer, as she assumed the position of student assistant in the Early College program, providing support for the current cohort of high schoolers who are on UNE’s Biddeford Campus to participate in the Early College Neuroscience program.

The University of New England’s annual early college program enables high school juniors and seniors from across the country the opportunity to earn three college credits in two- or three-week sessions over the summer by studying a field of interest while getting a taste of college life.
