Jennifer Gunderman discusses refugee volunteer work on ‘207’

Jennifer Gunderman volunteers with Carry the Future

On February 24, 2016 Jennifer Gunderman, M.P.H., assistant lecturer in the School of Community and Population Health appeared on news magazine show “207” on WCSH to discuss her recent trip to Greece to assist refugees fleeing war-torn nations.

Gunderman volunteered with Carry the Future, which provides refugee families with baby and child carriers for easier and safer travel to their asylum destination. On the television program, she shared powerful stories about the thousands of refugees arriving each day and the work volunteers are doing to ease the burden of their journeys.
