UNE’s Waeil Elmisalati selected as reviewer for leading academic journal

Waeil Elmisalati, B.D.S., M.M.Sc., C.A.G.E., associate clinical professor in the College of Dental Medicine, has been selected by the Journal of Periodontology editorial board to serve as a reviewer for the journal.

The journal of periodontology (J.O.P.) is the official peer-reviewed publication of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP). It's the most prestigious journal in the field of periodontology worldwide and has international circulation.

Elmisalati’s responsibilities will include reviewing clinical and basic science articles submitted by clinician scholars from around the globe. “It's an honor to be selected to serve as a reviewer for the J.O.P.,” he said. “This is an amazing opportunity and I'm humbly proud to the opportunity to serve on the journal.”
