ADEA names UNE’s Marji Harmer-Beem to task force advisory group

Marji Harmer-Beem, program director of the Department of Dental Hygiene, has been appointed to the American Dental Education Association Dental Hygiene Centralized Application Service (ADEA DHCAS) task force.

The advisory group represents a mix of constituents, including post-doctoral dental programs, dental schools, hygiene program directors, students and ADEA administrators. In her three-year term beginning in March 2018, Harmer-Beem will work to support the ADEA Division of Educational Pathways staff. She will be involved with reviewing and revising data elements, data manipulation, report formats, informational transmittal protocols, and the essential items related to the application service. As a task force member, she will serve as a liaison between program directors/admissions officers and the Division of Educational Pathways to address various issues and concerns, as well as suggest improvements in the application process.
