UNE’s Lionel Vachon receives ADA Lifetime Membership Award

Lionel Vachon, D.D.S., associate clinical professor/group practice leader in the College of Dental Medicine, has been awarded an American Dental Association Lifetime Membership award for his service to the profession. He was awarded the honor at the Maine Dental Association Annual Convention.

Vachon received the award after maintaining ADA membership for 35 years. He is also a member of the York County Dental Society and Maine Dental Association.

The American Dental Association is the nation's largest dental association, representing more than 161,000 dentist members. Founded in 1859, this not-for-profit organization is now the leading source of oral health related information for dentists and their patients. It is committed to the improvement of oral health for the public and strives to help all members of the organization succeed in the dental profession.
