Caleb Corse is Assistant Director of Graduate Financial Aid in the Student Financial Services Office at the University of New England.  He is originally from Vermont and attended the University of Vermont (UVM).  After graduation he worked for UVM in undergraduate admissions, first in Burlington then remotely from Boston.  After a brief foray into real estate, he moved into undergraduate financial aid at Northeastern University.  While he enjoyed the work itself, Caleb and his family decided to leave the city to return to a lifestyle more similar to growing up in Vermont.  Having settled in the Portland area, he was excited to resume working in financial aid, this time with graduate and professional students.  He maintains a passion for assisting students, especially with the complex and confusing subject that is financial aid.  Once of the biggest takeaways from his time at Northeastern was how much of an impact a financial aid professional can have on a student’s experience, and how much can be done to help students succeed in their educational and professional goals by helping manage the financial side of higher education.
