Robin D. Risling-de Jong, MHS, PA-C, Ed.D.

Dr. Robin Risling is a graduate of the University of South Alabama Physician Assistant Program.  Transitioning from clinical work to academia in 2013, she returned to her alma mater to focus on teaching clinical medicine.  In 2015, she assumed the role of Director of Didactic Education while continuing to be active clinically as a primary care provider in the community.

Robin’s interests include rural health, interprofessional education, team-based learning, experiential learning, and community outreach.  She has published and presented in many of her areas of interest in both national and international venues.  Her leadership platform rests on the pillars of Integrity, Equity, and Inclusiveness.

Robin is also a member of the Hoopa Valley Tribe in California and remains committed to representing and supporting her indigenous heritage.
