The UNE College of Pharmacy Office of Continuing Education provides high-quality, evidence-based educational opportunities that advance professional competence and scientific techniques, enhance practice performance, promote medication safety, and improve public health in the communities served by the health care providers we educate.
The Office of Continuing Education is dedicated to providing the highest quality of CPE programs for faculty, alumni and members of the pharmacy community. We seek to serve the educational needs of pharmacy professionals (pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, scientists and researchers) within our institution, the state of Maine, Northern New England, and beyond.
Continuing Pharmacy Education Goals
The goals of the Office of Continuing Education are to train Pharmacists and Technicians in new knowledge and techniques that will enhance their practice and research in order to contribute to the good of the community. The CPE programs will be developed in an effort to expand direct patient care responsibilities for pharmacy professionals across the nation.
Our office strives to strengthen and promote the highest quality continuing pharmacy education programs possible by adhering to the standards set forth by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education, following their rules and regulations, and by utilizing advanced technology to reach pharmacy professionals at multiple sites simultaneously.
