Make a Difference through Data
The UNE School of Computer Science and Data Analytics equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in today’s data-driven economy. Whether it’s algorithms that process complex financial data, sensors that track and monitor endangered species, or systems that track patient health records across hospitals, data and computing now touch nearly every facet of daily life.
By focusing on the power of numbers through advancements in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, and Mathematics, you’ll meet the rising demand in areas like artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and big data. Through sound foundations and hands-on learning opportunities, you’ll use the latest technologies, programming languages, and tools — and apply them in a supportive environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration. At UNE you’ll stay ahead of the curve with the skills to tackle complex real-world problems.
Getting to work with real data and help make decisions for the department is real-life problem solving. It’s awesome." — Shanley Camara ’22
