Spend six weeks in Beautiful Tangier this summer
The University of New England’s Global Education Program is offering a new six-week summer session at the UNE Tangier Campus in Morocco. Open to undergraduates from UNE and other universities, this unique study abroad program allows you to earn college credit by taking Arabic language, humanities, or social science courses while living in UNE’s residence hall, located in a secure gated campus.
This immersive study abroad program combines rigorous coursework with experiential learning in one of North Africa’s most dynamic cities. Through excursions and cultural activities organized by on-site staff, you will engage with Morocco’s vibrant culture and history while exploring the coastal city of Tangier. The six-week format offers a shorter, more flexible option for those interested in studying abroad outside the traditional academic year.
The UNE Tangier Campus is located adjacent to the American School of Tangier, a diverse international K-12 school that offers a truly global learning environment. Outside the classroom, you can explore Mediterranean beaches, markets, cafés, and historic neighborhoods while gaining international experience and earning academic credit that supports your undergraduate degree.
