UNE's Global Education Program offers both fall and spring semester programs at UNE Morocco, open to all undergraduate students at UNE and students from other universities.
UNE’s state-of-the-art Tangier Campus, situated in the heart of the city, consists of two buildings as well as a sports court. Our Academic Building houses cutting-edge labs and classrooms, office space and a modern auditorium, while our Residential Building includes spacious, well-appointed rooms, fitness and studio space, and an elegant cafeteria. Both these buildings reflect Morocco’s famous architectural style and are designed to meet the high modern standards of similar educational facilities.

Our campus features modern amenities with an authentic local sensibility. With our residence hall, an on-site café and plenty of outdoor spaces to soak up the sun, students enjoy both contemporary comfort and traditional style.
Beyond the Campus
As a relief from the rigor of the classroom, many opportunities exist beyond the serenity of the campus, including excursions to destinations in Morocco and Spain, as well as being immersed in the community you'll call home.
The UNE Morocco semester program includes an exciting itinerary of trips to nearby Moroccan destinations — plus a weekend trip to Seville, Spain. Destinations may vary from semester to semester, so please check with the Global Education Program office for the latest programming.
As part of the semester-long study abroad program, we offer a range of volunteer opportunities that help students give back to their new community and enhance their global learning. The university has formed partnerships with La Crèche Orphanage, SPANA (a local animal shelter), Croissant Rouge medical clinic, DARNA (Women & Children's Association) and other local organizations.
Write about your amazing experiences and submit them for publication at our magazine Moorish Tides. Your family, friends, and readers around the world will be impressed and grateful.
We offer a suite of courses that can meet the needs of all majors. Students will enjoy a variety of engaging courses taught in English, plus Arabic language study. All courses are approved by UNE faculty and count toward the core or the major. Please check with your advisers on how best to take advantage of UNE Morocco and make sure to plan ahead.
*Courses with fewer than five students will not enroll.
Program costs include classes, accommodations, meals, and an itinerary of group excursions.
UNE students keep all UNE scholarships and financial aid and are billed the same tuition as for a traditional on-campus semester, plus standard double room and board. Scholarships may be available; contact the Global Education team for more details.
Students from Other Universities
Non-UNE students pay UNE undergraduate semester tuition, general service fee, plus UNE standard double room and board. See Student Financial Services for current cost.
Please note the Student Financial Services cost breakdown is for a full academic year. Divide by two for a single semester cost.
