Through her work as a UNE Sustainability Fellow, Regina Dyer ’26 has spent her summer safeguarding Maine’s historic lighthouses from the effects of climate change, using GIS data and knowledge gathered from site visits to create detailed maps predicting the effects of sea-level rise for more than a dozen coastal sites, including Halfway Rock Light Station in Casco Bay.
