Free and open to the public

Q-Med (UNECOM's LGBT student group) will be showing the award-winning documentary "How to Survive a Plague", which chronicles the efforts of ACT UP (AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power) and TAG (Treatment Action Group) to pressure government officials and pharmaceutical companies to acknowledge the AIDS epidemic and to develop AIDS treatments, during AIDS Awareness week.

This is a special screening thanks to the generosity of the film producers.

Donations are encouraged and will benefit the Frannie Peabody Center in Portland.
