Talkin’ Bout My Generation is the third in a series of nationally acclaimed, one-person shows that uses a multimedia and theatrical storytelling format to present current social issues experienced by individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Performed by L.A. based actress, Toyin Moises, the performance is based on a compilation of real-life stories and interviews from college-aged students discussing contemporary challenges they face in this generation.

1.  Identify social inequities and challenges faced by a variety of multicultural individuals living in the U.S. discussing contemporary social issues faced by young people in this generation.
2.  Evaluate how unique challenges and circumstances of marginalized or under-represented populations can lead to issues in overall health and well-being.
3.  Critically examine how health disparities can lead to inequities in adequate healthcare and examine the healthcare professionals’ role in being a knowledgeable advocate for health disparities.
