CANCELED: Solar Energy Forum

As the University journeys toward a goal of carbon neutrality, we are looking for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects that will carry us in that direction.  Focus the Nation and UNE have partnered with three student interns to develop a clean energy project at UNE this year.  The students have narrowed the possibilities to three solar projects: a solar thermal system on a residence hall, a solar electric system on our new athletic complex and a solar charging station for electric cars.  The next step is the strategic planning process, and to do that they are enlisting the help of you and other community and campus stakeholders!

Please join us to hear speakers, participate in a S.W.O.T. (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) analysis exercise, ask questions of panelists and see a solar car charging station demonstration or take a tour of the solar thermal system on the Campus Center.
