Surgical Treatment of Movement Disorders and Deep Brain Stimulation

Functional Neurosurgery surgically treats some movement disorders, epilepsy, pain, and some psychiatric diseases. The most common movement disorder treated with surgery is Parkinson’s disease, usually treated surgically with Deep Brain Stimulation. He is currently the only neurosurgeon in Maine providing Deep Brain Stimulation. He also provides general neurosurgical care.
