Over the years, Dr. Lemenager's career has developed toward environmental cultural studies and the public humanities, through programming and outreach work through her founding roles in varied green public humanities ventures, namely the environmental humanities journal Resilience, co-founded with Professor Stephanie Foote of the University of Illinois. Her forthcoming book is titled Living Oil: Petroleum and Culture in the American Century (Oxford UP).
