Designing Our Way to a Better World

Based on his recent book by this name, Fisher will discuss the ways in which design thinking can help redesign systems — our education system, political system, economic system, health system — that have become increasingly dysfunctional or misaligned with future needs. While the design community uses such thinking all the time to create the products and environments we all use every day, rarely do those methods get applied to services and systems that have just as much effect on our lives.
